The Little Things

I’ve made some great steps forward this week!

  • I picked a house color scheme, chose the granite, cabinets, and flooring for our new house. It’s still a little surreal to think that we’re building our dream house.

  • I finally received referrals from our family doctor to a few specialists for my kiddo this week! We’re visiting with a councilor tomorrow, so we can tackle a plan to improve his self awareness and social skills (because it’s not socially acceptable to call out others for doing wrong behaviors while simultaneously practicing same said behaviors).
  • I’ve kept my activity level high, exercising a little before work (at the butt crack of dawn…mind you) as well as after work or during my lunch hour. It’s amazing how much better I feel just by doing this for the past month.
  • I’ve decided find out more about becoming a training resource for the Paraoptometric board, so I might be writing and teaching a few seminars on eye-doctor-y (yeah, I made that word up) kinds of things.

How are you doing with your goals? It’s not to late to jump on board, Lets make every day count people! Write down some goals, and work on them each day. It’s exhilarating to watch those check-marks happen, and even better to add to the list.
